He is a Secretary and Researcher of Fruit Tree Research Institute of Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, a Director General of Peach Branch of Chinese Horticultural Society, a Director General of Jiangsu Horticultural Society, an Editorial Board Member of Journal of Fruit Science and Jiangsu Journal of Agricultural Sciences. He is also a Doctoral Supervisor of Nanjing Forestry University, a Master Supervisor of Nanjing Agricultural University and Yangzhou University, and a Postdoctoral Supervisor of Postdoctoral Progremme of Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He is the young and middle-aged scientific and technological leader of the “333 High-level Talent Training Project” of Jiangsu Province, he was listed as the training object of the “six talent peaks” by Jiangsu Personnel Department in 2007. Elected as outstanding scientific and technological workers of Jiangsu Province, young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions of Jiangsu Province, he enjoys the special allowance of the State Council. And he is Director of Breeding Laboratory of National Peach Industry Technology System.
