1984

In January, Fujiabian Village was designated by the provincial science and technology department as the base of the comprehensive technology development test of low hills in Jiangsu Province. The forestry team of Fujiabian Village was responsible for the construction and management of its core area, which owned more than 1000 mu of collective land and mainly managed the production of fruit trees, tea leaves and timber forests, with the annual profit of RMB 50,000, which has become the main source of economic income of Fujiabian Village.

1985

Chestnut varieties such as Jiujiazhong were introduced from Liyang by Jiangsu Institute of Botany to set up a chestnut experimental demonstration garden of 15 mu. Cedar, Longbai, Shuhui, Five-needle pine and other landscaping tree seedlings were introduced to establish more than 20 nurseries, due to the decline of the market, which could not be selled.

1986

Supported by the listed projects of the municipal Science and Technology Commission, the village forestry team set up a sheep farm with more than 100 stocks, which was listed as the second sheep farm in the county by the County Forestry Sideline Bureau; due to poor management and continuous losses, the farm was suspended in 1990 due. The tea processing, rolling, shaping, drying, packaging, etc in the park conducted manual production. In 1986, the total income of agriculture, sub-industry and industry reached RMB 1,976,000, and the per capita net income of peasants was RMB 548.13, an increase of 95.8 % and 1.15 times over 1983 respectively. The tree coverage rate increased from 21.6 % in 1983 to 27.1%.

1987

Fixation machine, rolling machine, dryer and other five tea processing machinery equipment were firstly introduced, and tea processing achieved semi-mechanical and semi-manual. Set up a pig farm, having more than 50 stocks.

On June 17, the research on Fujiabian Test Base in Lishui County of Jiangsu Province on the comprehensive technology development of low mountains and hills won the second prize of the Municipal Science and Technology Progress Award and passed the provincial appraisal.

In December, the county scientific and technological personnel introduced pear varieties such as Huanghua, Hangqing, Xinshiji, Xinshui, Xingshui, Fengshui from Hangzhou Fruit Research Institute. The average yield per mu of Fujiabian village forestry team test demonstration area is basically stable at more than 1000 kg.

1988

The seed of dwarf pear (early crisp, crisp pear, snow, Qin crisp) and the scion of red pear varieties such as Hongbali, Bali, Zaobali, Kesiwang and Jiubao were introduced from Shaanxi Fruit Research Institute. The sweet persimmon varieties of Fuyou, Cilang, Songmuzaosheng, Luotian and Chansiwan were introduced. At the end of the year, the total economic forest and fruit area of Fujiabian village reached 1140 mu.

1989

From Nanjing Agricultural University, we introduced scions of more than 20 kinds of green plum such as Yingxu, Nangao, Baijiahe, Fenghou, Nanhong, Soft stripe red plum and Changnong 17, and grafted seedlings to establish a 5 mu variety garden of green plum. Through the observation experiment on the adaptability of green plums, the main cultivars of green plums suitable for the growth in this area were identified as Xiyeqing, Nanhong, Yingxu, Changnong 17 and they were promoted in the whole county. 11 grape varieties including Dabao, Longbao, Jingchao, Gaomo, Hongyidou, Hongruibao etc were introduced from Haimen. Dwarf apple varieties including Hali, Enpai, Changfu 2, Hongjinshuai, Duanzhifushi, Zaojie, Anna, Zaohong Stack etc were introduced from Zhengzhou. Fujiabian Village introduced a green plum processing technician from Suzhou, constructed a 380-square-meter green plum processing plant, and set up Fujiabian Fruit Processing Factory in Lishui County, which mainly produced semi-finished salted plum, sugar-water plum, preserved plum, plum sauce and other finished products with self-produced green plum fresh fruit as raw material.

1990

The average yield per mu of the forestry team experimental demonstration area in Fujiabian Village reached 1258 kg, among which the average yield per mu in the 10-mu high-yielding garden was 2512 kg, and the high quality fruit accounted for more than 85%, which created the high yield record of pear trees in the hills and mountains of Ning Town. The “cultivation technology of green plum and other fruits with high quality and high yield” undertaken has been included in the national Spark Program project by the State Science and Technology Commission. Sheep farm was shut down in 1990 due to poor management and successive years of losses.

1991

Kiwi variety was introduced. Set up a chicken farm, with more than 2000 stocks. The scientific and technological projects of "Study on pear tree production technology in the hills and mountains of Ning Town" and "Study on meteorological conditions and fruit setting rate of green plums" won “the third prize of municipal science and technology progress award” and “the third prize of provicial science and technology progress award” respectively.

1992

The science and technology project “the technical way of the comprehensive utilization of agricultural resources in the hilly and mountainous areas of Ning Town” won “the third prize of the provincial science and technology progress award”.

1993

Since 1993, 10 to 15 training courses on practical agricultural techniques will be held every year, with over 500 participants. Main courses include fruit tree cultivation, tea processing, watermelon planting and rice, wheat, oil high-yield cultivation and other agricultural practical technology. The technological project “research on low-yield orchard transformation technology” won “the third prize of provincial science and technology progress award”. The pig farm was closed.

1994

In April, the county government established the leadership group of Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park and officially established Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park in Lishui County, Jiangsu Province, becoming the first agricultural science and technology park approved by the government in Jiangsu Province.

On May 13, the first meeting of the leading group of Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park was held in the government of Yuge Town, which decided that the Fujiabian Village Committee was responsible for the construction of Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park. The forestry team of Fujiabian Village was renamed as Fujiabian Village Forest Farm, which was specifically responsible for infrastructure construction, science and technology demonstration training and daily work management. The construction of Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park has officially started since then. The county government has raised some special funds every year and arranged experts to enter the village to promote the construction and development of the park, but the results were not good and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements was insufficient.

In 1994, the planting area of fruit trees was 2500 mu, including 1650 mu of green plum, 700 mu of pear, 60 mu of chestnut, 20 mu of grape and 70 mu of others. The tea plantation area was 600 mu. The total area of economic forest and fruit reached 3100 mu.

1995

Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park was renamed as Nanjing Hilly Area Agricultural Science and Technology Park approved by the Municipal Government. The tea processing factory of the village forest farm has been relocated and expanded, with a new workshop of more than 500 square meters, and 12 sets of tea processing machinery and equipment have been purchased to mainly produce tea varieties of Biluochun and Chaoqing. The fruit processing plant was moved to Putangji Town, the new factory covered an area of more than 30 mu, and the workshop covered an area of 1500 square meters. Nanjing Meiwang Food Co., Ltd. was registered to begin to produce crispy plum and other products. Since 1995, Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park has focused on the implementation of the transformation of high slope landscape, the development of pears, peaches, green plum, chestnut, tea, and so on. The research project of plum introduction and cultivation technology won “the third prize of municipal science and technology progress award”. The chicken farm was closed.

1996

More than RMB 400,000 was invested to build a agricultural science and technology training center with the area of 560 m2. The project of “research on fruit plum selection and cultivation technology of high yield and quality” won “the third prize of provincial science and technology progress award”. In November, with the approval of Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Commission, the construction of the first batch of provincial agricultural science and technology parks was started, and Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park became one of the first provincial agricultural science and technology parks.

1997

Nanjing Meiwang Food Co., Ltd. acquired 425 tons of green plum with an amount of RMB 950,000, including 80 tons of self-produced green plum in the county with an amount of RMB 250,000. The project of “application research of plant growth regulation substance on fruit plums” won “the third prize of municipal science and technology progress award.”

1998

In July 1998, the CPC municipal committee and the CPC municipal government determined Fujiabian to be a stereo and efficient agriculture demonstration base, and organized the implementation of “112 project” (construction projects of 10000 mu of economic forest and fruit development base, 10000 mu of high standard farmland upgrading and 2000 mu of efficient aquaculture industry base) with the center of Fujiabian to further increase investment in agricultural science and technology, speed up the construction, promote the rapid development of the park economy. The project “supporting technology and promotion of early peach production in hilly area” won “the third prize of provincial science and technology progress award”.

1999

In March, LI Baijian introduced 25 pear varieties from Zhejiang Province including Cuiguan, Qingxiang, Fengshui, Aiganshui, Crystal pear and Hongxiangsu, and built a pear variety garden of 5 mu. Grape varieties including Tengren, Jingya, peach varieties including Xiahui No. 1, Huangshan Zaolu, An’nong Shuimi, Shazi Zaosheng, peento varieties including Zaoshuomi, apricot varieties including Zaomeiguang, peach varieties including Huayulu, and other varieties including Zaohongli, Misili, Heibaoshili, kiwi, apricot, pomegranate, cherry, ginkgo, jujube, blackberry, blueberry were introduced.

30 varieties of ornamental plum such as Guifei plum, Honggongfen, Shuangbi Chuizhi and Xiaolve were firstly introduced from Nanjing Agricultural University.

Fengxiang, Mingbao strawberry were firstly introduced to be cultivated in demonstration application greenhouse, covered with three layers of plastic film. The outer shed used galvanized pipe as its skeleton with the width of 6 meters; the middle shed was made of small bamboo poles as its skeleton with the width of 5.8 meters; the small shed was made of small bamboo as its skeleton with the width of 1 meter. In August, preparing the field, fertilizing and riding with the depth of 30 ~ 35 cm; by early to mid-September, planting, 5600 ~ 6000 plants were planted each mu; in mid- October, building the outer shed; in December, building the middle shed. When the outdoor temperature was lower than -3℃, building the small shed. Fruits began to mature around New Year's Day, and there were three peak ripening periods until the beginning of May.

In March, Fujiabian Green Plum Production Base was named as “model orchard of Jiangsu Province” by the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Forestry.

In June, LI Baijian, a staff of the county’s special forestry technology promotion station, raised RMB 50,000 by himself to establish the county’s first private agricultural science and technology enterprise - Nanjing Xinshiji Gardening Research Institute - in Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park, which was responsible for the introduction test, demonstration and popularization of new varieties. In October, Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park was officially recognized as a provincial agricultural science and technology demonstration park in Jiangsu Province by the Provincial Science and Technology Commission, and became one of the six key agricultural science and technology parks in Jiangsu Province.

In September, strawberry varieties of Fengxiang, Mingbao, Nvfeng, Anna, etc introduced from Zhenjiang Agricultural Science and Technology Institute were used to build a 15 mu greenhouse strawberry demonstration garden, which was successful.

The cultivation mode of greenhouse strawberry firstly introduced by Nanjing Xinshiji Gardening Research Institute was used to set up a steel strawberry greenhouse with the area of 15 mu, with the width of 6 meters and the length of about 40 meters. There were 6 ridges with each height of 30 cm, and two lines of strawberries were planted in each ridge with strawberry varieties of Fengxiang and MingBao. There was one middle shed and six small sheds in the greenhouse, covering black film. And fruit trees and seedlings began to be cultivated, mainly including green plum, flower plum, pear, peach, grape and other varieties, with the annual cultivation reaching 30,000 to 50,000 plants.

2000

In May, Li Baijian introduced the production technology of selenium-rich agricultural products from Nanjing Agricultural University and formulated the enterprise standard (Q/320124NJXSJ01-2000) of “selenium-rich tea”, which was reported to the Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision for the record.

In November, the forest farm of Fujiabian Village was annexed by Nanjing Xinshiji Gardening Research Institute.

In December, through the way of WANG Yanwen, the head of the county, each 100 plants of pear seedlings including Xingao, Fengshui, Xingshui and Xinxing, 150 plants of twentieth pear seedlings were directly imported from Jing Farm, Hengyue Village, Zhongpuyuan Town, Xinxie Couty, Japan to build Sino - Japanese Friendship Pear Garden with the area of 15 mu.

2001

In the spring of 2001, we firstly introduced the sound clone tea, mainly by purchasing tea seedlings, and varieties introduced to plant mainly included Wuniuzao, Longjing Changye, Longjing 43, Anji White Tea, formally beginning to produce and process the selenium-rich tea.

On February 26, the county party committee and the county government held the First Nanjing Lishui Plum Blossom Fair in Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park, which began to transform the unique agricultural science and technology resources into tourism resources. In March 2001, 7 Eurasian grape varieties including Hongti, Shifu Luosha, Meirenzhi, Sentianni (seedless), Heimeigui, Jumeigui, Zaoyu were introduced from the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences to build a grape variety garden with the area of 12 mu, which was cultivated with a double-cross V-shaped simple rain shelter frame and was successful.

2002

In April, Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park was designated as the provincial key agricultural science and technology demonstration park during “the tenth five-year plan” period by the Provincial Science and Technology Department. The county party committee and the county government increased the investment in the Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park and started the construction of the provincial key agricultural science and technology demonstration park.

In September, Nanjing Xinshiji Gardening Research Institute increased its capital and shares to RMB 12,108,000, which is the first agricultural enterprise in Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park and also is the first private scientific research institution in the county. RMB 2,000,000 was invested to build a science and technology exhibition hall and tourist reception center with the area of 1,800 m2, a Riyue Square of 5,000 m2, and five pyramid-like farmhouses with the area of 300 m2. The Riyue Square has become the main place for large-scale cultural activities and mass gatherings in tourism festivals such as the Annual Plum Blossom Festival.

In October, invested and held by Nanjing Xinshiji Gardening Research Institute, Nanjing Fujiabian Technology Park Group Co., Ltd. was founded, with the registered capital of RMB 22.870,000, forming the first agricultural science and technology enterprise group in the province - Fujiabian Group, with three subsidiary branches of Nanjing Fujiabian Fruit Industry Co., Ltd., Nanjing Jingtian Garden Horticulture Co., Ltd. and Nanjing Xuesong Tea Co., Ltd.. The innovation adopted the business model of “‘ten bases of the company” leading farmers’, adopted management measures of specialized company legal person, capital source diversification, the wisdom of all staff and capable person leading joint production contract, etc., initially realizing the industrialization development of fruit, tea and seedlings, and focusing on the agricultural industrialization development of the park.

In November, due to poor management, Meiwang company was closed. Fujiabian Group invested to set up Nanjing Fujiabian Fruit Industry Co., Ltd., which began to conduct fruit processing and development, and introduced a set of fresh juice production and processing equipment by cooperated with Nanjing Jinye Juice Co., Ltd., successfully developing fresh blackberry juice, and aloe juice, exclusively for hotels and group purchase sales.

Nanjing Xuesong Tea Co., Ltd. was established to promote the planting of clone tea in a large area, the new development area reaching 500 mu in the year.

2003

In March, RMB 800,000 was invested to build the plum blossom landscape avenue with the length of 5 km from Putangji Town to Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park.

In 2003, under chestnut trees, pear trees, plum garden, bamboo garden and pine forest, poultry such as running pheasant, grass chicken, Qingkedan chicken were raised on demonstration. And poultry grew fast with good quality, and forest pests and diseases were reduced. Daye Kuding Tea seeds introduced from Zhejiang were planted and cultivated.

In December, LI Baijian applied 5 invention patents and design patents of “a selenium-rich liquid fertilizer and its production method for selenium-rich tea, pears, grapes or strawberries” to the State Intellectual Property Office.

2004

In January, it was awarded the honorary title of “national advanced collective of agricultural science popularization” by Chinese Agricultural Society.

In February, the ticket price of the park was adjusted to RMB 15 per person. In June, Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park started the construction pilot of village farmhouse, building farm restaurant cabins, reservoir fishing project, and the first batch of selected 10 demonstration pilots of rural families had the fully subsidized handling fees of individual business license, tax certificate, sanitary certificate, health certificate, and could freely participate in practical knowledge and skills training including catering, service, etc. Since then, farmhouses grew rapidly, there were almost 100 farmhouses along the route from Honglan, Putangji Town to Shan’ao Village. Catering, accommodation, tour guide, picking, shopping, rental and other supporting services gradually formed into the certain scale.

In March, RMB 600,000 was invested to build a farm garden of 10,000 m2, including 6 cabins, 1 viewing pavilion and 1 rest pavilion. A fishing center with the area of 5,000 m2 was updated and increased the facilities and functions of catering, fishing and leisure in the park.

On April 12, the county government held the “20 years of construction achievements of Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park”, and held the foundation ceremony of plant cultivation center. In the same month, Fujiaban Agricultural Science and Technology Park passed the on-site inspection of the National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site Evaluation Committee and became one of the first national agricultural tourism demonstration sites.

From July to September, Fujiabian successfully held the First Fujiabian Picking Festival, mainly including picking fresh fruits, rafting, fishing, eating, participating in farming, to make tourists experience the happiness of personal gain. Then, some subject activities, such as “I have a fruit tree in Lishui”, “raising a fruit tree, caring a rural girl”, “a big hand holding a little hand, picking fruits in garden”, were held.

In August, Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park was identified as the first batch of demonstration units of agricultural science and technology expert compound model under the National Spark Program by the Ministry of Science and Technology. It was named as Nanjing Fujiabian Science and Technology Park Spark Expert Compound, and a special fund of RMB 150,000 was arranged for its science and technology research.

In September, the selected Cuiguan pear won the gold medal in the second “Shenyuan Cup” Jiangsu High Quality Products Competition.。

In October, LI Baijian applied to the State Intellectual Property Office for an invention patent for “a method for producing Meixiang Tea”. In 2004, cooperated with Institute of Botany of Jiangsu Academy of Sciences, they set up a colorful landscape tree demonstration garden to conduct experimental research on the introduction of new varieties of trees in the garden.

2005

It planned to build “Zhonghua Plum Culture” theme park in the central area of Fujiabian Science and Technology Park within 3 years since January, with the core area covering 112 hectares and the surrounding scenic area covering 3,000 hectares.

On April 12, Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park became one of the “48 new scenic spots of Jinling” in a competition launched by Jinling Evening News. From July 30 to August 30, together with Qinhuai District Tourism Bureau, the Second Fujiabian Fruit Picking Festival was held. In September, “Chinese Plum Culture” theme park was completed. On November 15, Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park passed the on-site acceptance of the National Tourism Quality Rating Committee and became a national AAA tourism spot..

In June, Honglan Town, together with the Horticulture College of Nanjing Agricultural University, worked out “the general plan (discussion draft) of “Ten Miles of Leisure Farm Entertainment” in Nanjing Fujiabian”. The plan aimed to build “farmhouse” leisure tourism demonstration bond with cultural features, various types and sophisticated functions, with the lead of Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park and the bond of “ten miles of plum avenue”, and to plan to build ten major scenic spots, including Green Island Fishing Village, Spot with Sound Songs and Delicious Food, Farming Spot, Strawberry Garden, Northland Nostalgia, Shengcun Farmhouse, Agricultural Trade Hotel, Meixiang Tea Garden, Flowers and Fruits Mountain, Peach Valley, providing a scientific and feasible guidance for project implementation. After 2005, 8-meter-wide body greenhouses were promoted, used two layers of film, which obtained gains and have been widely promoted. In 2005, the planting scale of fruit base reached 6200 mu, including 3000 mu of green plum, 1350 mu of pear, 500 mu of peach, 650 mu of strawberry, 250 mu of pomegranate, 250 mu of plum, 60 mu of chestnut, 30 mu of grape and 110 mu of others. In 2005, the plantation scale of tea base was 2100 mu, among which 860 mu was the clone tea.

In November, a plant cultivation center of 1,580 m2 was established, focusing on the research and industrial development of tip cultivation, virus-free rapid propagation, rooting and training seedlings, plug of cultivation seedlings on plants, such as strawberry, calla lilies, blueberries, and 350,000 original seedlings were cultivated per year. In the same year, together with Nanjing University, “American Binmei Demonstration Park" was established. At the end of the year, the greening nursery area of the park reached 380 mu.

During the same period, RMB 2,200,000 was invested to implement the slope protection and beautification project on the north bank of Shenshan Lake, 12 kilometers of cement road was newly built in the park, 1.2 kilometers of cobblestone walking road in the garden was laid, and more than 50 signs, road signs and scenic spots introduction signs were added, forming five major scenic spots of Meixiang Garden, Shenshan Lake, Qinglong Mountain, Zhuhai and Science Center.

The annual output of blue-shelled eggs was 800,000, and that of caowu eggs was 200,000. Cooperated with Shanghai Qiaoyamei Wine Co., Ltd., green plum wine was developed and conducted processing with brand. The total area of economic forest and fruit reached 8,680 mu, accounting for more than 50% of the total area of agricultural production. The total industrial and agricultural output of Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park was RMB 160,000,000, and the per capita net income of farmers was RMB 6,363.

2006

On February 28, the Sixth Nanjing-Lishui Plum Blossom Fair opened grandly. Nearly 1,000 merchants from the United States, Japan, Hong Kong (China), Taiwan (China) and other countries and regions came to enjoy plum blossoms. On the same day, 107 projects were signed, issued and licensed, with a total investment of USD 436 million, among which the value of 7 projects were more than RMB 100 million, setting the record compared with any passed Plum Blossom Fair. The Plum Blossom Fair was branded with the “Industrial County”. Among the 107 projects, 94 were industrial projects and 32 were foreign-invested projects, among which there were the plastic pipe project of USD 25 million invested by Hong Kong Liansu Group Co., Ltd., the Xizhlang expansion project of USD 20 million invested by Nanjing Xizhilang Food Co., Ltd. and the Nanjing-Taiwan Science and Technology Industrial Park project of USD 20 million invested by Taiwan merchants.

2007

“With the waking of ten thousand mu of plum garden, magnificent plum scenery and fragrance attracting tourists”-the main day of the annual “Rural Plum Blossom Fair” in Lishui was kicked off on March 6, 2007. The subject of the Plum Blossom Fair was “advantages showing from enjoying plum and scenic spots, celebrities gathering to achieve development”, coordinating various “plum culture” tourism, cultural and commercial activities, which specially invited a domestic famous singer, Tengel, to sing in the morning and evening on the main day of “the Plum Blossom Fair”, adding a wonderful gala for citizens during the Spring Festival. Fork performances of “dance of the dragon and lion, enduring prosperity and peace” included featured fork shows, such as Muzilong, Dazaohuo, Caigaoqiao, Jianglv. Four series of fifteen items activities, including tourism, culture, forum and business-promotion, were promoted, greatly showing the characteristic achievement of Lishui Plum Culture and Plum Economy. The business promotion series were the highlight of the Plum Festival, and the “2007 Nanjing • Lishui Investment Environment Introduction” held on the main day invited hundreds of businessmen from home and abroad to conduct investigation and negotiation, using the plum as a medium to set off a new investment attraction in Lishui upsurge.

2008

On February 29th, the eighth Lishui Plum Blossom Fair was grandly opened. More than 1,000 businessmen and tens of thousands of tourists from the United States, South Korea and other places were invited to visit the plum and negotiate investment. On that day, 209 various projects were signed, with a total investment of USD 1,908 million, 39 of which were over RMB 100 million. Yesterday, the start-up ceremony of “Impression of Lishui- Provincial Photography Competition of Entering into the Source of Qinhuai River” was held, 50 well-known photographers and media photographers from the province and the city rushed to the scene; in addition, the ‘Limei Blossom” large-scale art performance was held. Since 2001, Lishui has held seven times of the Plum Blossom Fair. The Plum Blossom Fair this time ran from February 1 to March 31. Lishui invested in the construction of the hillside road from the county to Fujiabian Plum Garden, Wufushan Road, opened the bus lines for watching the plum from Nanjing-Lishui to Lishui County, integrated the resources in the county, and launched five tourist routes, namely traveling Fujiabian Science and Technology Tour Park, watching thousands of mu of plum blossoms, picking a thousand mu of strawberries, and tasting hundreds of farm meals; viewing the wonders of Tiansheng Bridge, and seeing the Yani River; climbing the thousand-year-old ancient temple and enjoying the beauty of Jiangnan Tianchi; tracing the origin of Qinhuai, tasting the fresh fish of the Ping Lake; visiting the leisure special street, and tasting the local cuisine. 2009

On March 7, the Nineth NanjingLishui Plum Blossom Festival was successfully held at Riyue Square, Fujiabian, and leaders at all levels of city and county, performers and a large number of domestic and foreign tourists attended the festival, which strongly promoted the development of tourism agricultural industry.

On March 15, The Strawberry Festival of Lishui County was successfully held in the high-quality strawberry garden of our group, attended by leaders of the county government, farmers participating in the competition and tourists picking the berries, which promoted the effective communication and harmonious development among farmers, the center and the government, and improved the economic income of the common people.

On July 20, the 6th Lishui Fruit Picking Festival was successfully held in the scenic grape picking garden of 1000 mu in the park with the strong support of the leaders, staff and tourists of the County Tourism Bureau.

In December, the project of “research and industrialization of storage and preservation technology of strawberry and other characteristic fruits” jointly completed by Fujiabian Science and Technology Park Group, Nanjing Xinshiji Gardening Research Institute and Nanjing Agricultural University won the honorary title of “the third prize of Nanjing science and technology progress award" in 2009 issued by Nanjing Municipal Government.

2010

On February 18, the Tenth Nanjing Lishui Plum Blossom Festival was successfully held in Plum Square in the park, attended by leaders at all levels of cities and counties, performers and a large number of domestic and foreign tourists, effectively promoting the industrialization development of tourism agriculture.

On March 6, the Fifth Chinese Strawberry Culture Festival was successfully held in Plum Square and High-quality Strawberry Garden of the park, attended by leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture, leaders at all levels of the province, cities and counties, relevant personnel of the national strawberry planting areas and tourists participating in the activity. The leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and the leaders of the province, cities and counties delivered important speeches, pointing out the promising prospect of strawberry industry and tourism agriculture, and it is also a favorable channel to promote employment and harvest.

In April, French horticultural cultivation expert Dr. Alain Poupet was invited by Nanjing Administration of Foreign Experts AfFestivals to go to Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park of Lishui County for a 12-day technical exchange. During this period, Dr. Alain gave two lively lectures to the senior cadres and technicians of the cultivation center of the Group, and put forward valuable suggestions for the further development of the cultivation center. In the meeting room of the company’s tourist reception center, Dr. Alain mainly introduced the development of their laboratory cultivation and strawberry cultivation technology. Some constructive suggestions were put forward, such as the initial generation, the second generation, the root, the domestication and transplanting, the field seedling of strawberry and blueberry, etc. The cautions in the whole process of cultivation were put forward. This technological exchange would further promote the technological exchange and cooperation between the two countries, and promote the plant cultivation work in Lishui County to a new level.

In May, Kangman, consul and WU Zhongming, economic consul of Consulate General of the United States in Shanghai, SHI tianwu, Deputy Director, Janpan Osaka International Economics Shanghai Office, Muwei Chonghong, General Manager of Shanghai ITOCHU Corporation Nanjing Branch, TIAN Lingxiang, Development Chief and other 5 envoys in Shanghai, accompanied by related personnel of Nanjing Comprehensive Foreign-related AfFestivals, went to Lishui Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park for a visit.

On June 29, Nanjing Xinshiji Gardening Research Institute, the co-founding unit of the center, obtained the organic product certificate certified by Nanjing Guohuan Organic Products Authentication Center after three years of product transformation.

On July 16, the Seventh Fruit Picking Festival was successfully held in the China-Japan Friendship Pear Garden in the park, attended by leaders from provincial and municipal tourism bureaus and tourists. The success of the Festival has been well-praised by tourists at home and abroad, laying a foundation for the development of the center.

On the morning of August 15, the Vietnamese Party and Government Delegation, led by the head of the delegation RUAN Shizhong, came to the park to investigate the modern agriculture of the park for a half day. RUAN Shizhong, head of the Vietnamese Party and Government Delegation, spoke highly of the achievements of Fujiabian Modern Agricultural Park in modern agriculture and expressed the need to strengthen the technical exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in modern agriculture.

On August 20, a delegation from Suqian Municipal Government, accompanied by the management committee, came to visit the park, focusing on the development of laboratories and pilot bases in the park and giving unanimous praise.

In September, Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park was awarded the title of “National Top Ten Famous Parks” by Agricultural Science and Technology Park Branch of Chinese Agricultural Society and Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

On October 29, the park successfully held the Second Jiangsu Rural Tourism Festival, attended by provincial, municipal and county leaders, principals and tourists of all rural tourism spots, which further promoted the development of tourism and leisure agriculture and the industrialization of Jiangsu rural tourism.

On the afternoon of November 15, CAI Qichu, President of the Thai Parliament, accompanied by PU Haiqing, Deputy Director Committee of NPC Environment and Resources Protection Committee, BAI Suning, Deputy Director of Provincial People’s Congress, HUANG Huang, Deputy Director of Municipal People’s Congress, XIANG Xuelong, secretary of the County Committee, SHEN Yinbao, Deputy Director of County People’s Congress, etc, led a Thai parliament delegation to visit Fujiaban Agricultural Science and Technology Park and the strawberry base.

On December 30, “Fujiabian and drawings” used on products of nuts, fresh strawberries, fresh fruits of Nanjing Xinshiji Gardening Research Institute, the co-founding unit of our Group, was recognized as a famous trademark of Jiangsu Province by Jiangsu Administration for Industry and Commerce.

2011

On the morning of January 15, Ms. Francesca, a reporter of the agricultural economy column of LA 7, the third largest radio station in Italy, and two other persons came to the park to investigate modern agriculture. Ms. Francesca and her delegation visited the plant cultivation center, Meihua Mountain and high-quality strawberry garden, and communicated in the meeting room of the management committee.

In February, Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park was recognized “National Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism Demonstration Site” by the Ministry of Agriculture and National Tourism Administration, which is also the first “National Leisure Agriculture and Rural Tourism Demonstration Site” in the city.

On February 24, two fruit tree experts from China-Japan Friendship Association of Sakhara, Chiba County, Japan, accompanied by the leaders of Science and Technology Service Office of Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Municipal Foreign Science and Technology Exchange Center, came to Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park of the county to carry out technical exchange activities. Technical manager of Fujiabian Group introduced the basic condition of pear garden to them, and Japanese experts introduced their experiences in pruning, thinning and fruiting, highly grafting buds of pear trees, and communicated and discussed with Chinese experts, professors and technicians on common pest and disease characteristics, pest and disease prevention measures, field management, harvest and storage, and market prospect. In addition, Japanese experts also brought new varieties of pears and cherry blossoms.

On March 11, the Eleventh Nanjing Lishui Plum Blossom Festival was successfully held at Plum Square of the park. Leaders of the province, cities and counties, performance teams and a large number of tourists at home and abroad attended the Festival, and its success improved the influence of the park and harmoniously integrated tourism agriculture into the common people.

On the afternoon of March 23, WANG Yunlong, Director of the Agriculture Commission of the National People’s Congress, and 19 other persons, accompanied by SHEN Yinbao, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Lishui County People's Congress, and CHEN Xiaodong, Deputy Head of the County People's Congress, came to Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park to conduct a special research on the development of modern agriculture, the transformation of agricultural development mode and the reform of collective forest rights system.

On March 24, a delegation led by DAI Jinyuan, Director General of Farmers Association of Xinzhu County, Taiwan, accompanied by SHAO Qiang, Nanjing Supply and Marketing Cooperative, ZHANG Wei, member of Lishui County Standing Committee, Deputy County Head, visited Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park, and the two sides have established a long-term interaction on production, processing, marketing, market, technology and information of agricultural products.

On April 10, SHENG Keqin, Deputy Director of the Organization Department of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, accompanied by XIANG Xuelong, Secretary of the County Committee, JIANG Ming, Deputy Secretary of the County Committee, the County Head, SUN Lvye, Deputy County Head of County Party Committee, came to Lishui Fujiabian Science and Technology Park to inspect the economic development and knew the status of the park.

In the morning of June 2, GE Huijun, member of the Standing Committee of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Vice Governor of Zhejiang Province, accompanied by XU Aigui, Deputy Secretary General of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and CHEN Weijian, Deputy Mayor of Nanjing Municipal Government, led principals of relevant provincial government departments and 10 deputy mayors of Hangzhou, Ningbo, etc, to visit our park, focusing on the development of modern agriculture and other work, conducting deep research and communication on further promotion of agricultural high-tech cultivation mode, the construction of agricultural industrialization and the development of modern agricultural science and technology. XIANG Xuelong, ZHU Kecheng, CHEN Xiaodong, leaders of Lishui County, accompanied to conduct investigation.

On July 6, our park organized teachers and students of the schools in the county to hold a summer camp entitled “entering the plant kingdom and viewing the microcosmic world”. Researchers in the park guided teachers and students to visit the cultivation center and watch the development of the microcosmic world of plants such as plant tissue and fungus propagation through the research equipment. The activity also enriched students’ extra-curricular scientific knowledge. The summer camp was highly praised by teachers and students of all schools.

On July 12, a delegation of 19 people led by XU Renhao, President of Guangyang Green Plum Research Association of South Korea, accompanied by HUANGPU Zhaohui, Deputy Director of Nanjing Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office and ZHANG Xin, Section Chief, came to Lishui for investigation and exchange. The delegation visited the green plum garden of Fujiabian Science and Technology Park and held the Lishui - Guangyang Green Plum Seminar. Representatives from both sides had in-depth exchanges on planting, processing and marketing of green plums, and the seminar was a complete success. This activity has effectively promoted the cooperation and exchange in the field of green plum technology and promoted the development of the green plum industry of the two countries.

In the morning of July 20, a delegation of 46 people from Zhangpu County, Fujian Province, accompanied by JIANG Xiaofen, Deputy County Magistrate, QIU Xuncheng, Deputy Director of the County People’s Congress and ZHANG Kaihao, Deputy Chairman of the County People’s Political Consultative Conference, came to Nanjing Fujiabian Modern Agricultural Park to investigate modern agriculture.

On August 13, the opening ceremony of the harvest season of “I having a fruit tree in Lishui” of the Eighth Fruit Picking Fair of Fujiabian in 2011 was held in the China-Japan Friendship Pear Garden at Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park. ZHU Wen, Director of Lishui County Tourism Bureau, XIA Jianguo, General Manager of Fujiabian Modern Agricultural Development Corporation and Secretary of the Party Committee of Lishui County Agriculture and Forestry Bureau, DAI Jishang, Secretary of Youth League Committee of Lishui County, LI Baijian, Chairman of Nanjing Fujiabian Group Co., Ltd. and representatives of Jiangsu Nanjing Branch of charity units of “I having a fruit tree in Lishui” attended the launching ceremony. With their help, 100 poor students in Lishui would get help. Claimed fruit trees and experienced Fujiabian’s rural tourism, as well as realized donating to help others, which both planted trees helped people, and both gained fruits and hopes.

On September 23, CAO Yihua, Deputy Director, Ministry of Science and Technology of Rural Affairs, accompanied by YU Jianyu, Deputy Director of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission, LI Qi, Director of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission, ZHANG Decai, Director of County Science and Technology Bureau, and other leaders, come to the park to conduct investigation. They visited the construction and operation of the branches of Lishui Economic Forest and Fruit Industry of Jiangsu Rural Science and Technology Service Supermarket, and tasted the organic fruits and blackberry juice and other products of Fujiabian Group with great interest. CAO Yihua, Deputy Director, fully affirmed and praised the overall planning and operation of Fujiabian Science and Technology Park and Technology Service Supermarket, and hoped that Fujiabian Science and Technology Park would continue to be a good example of the leading role and become bigger and stronger industrialization development!

In the morning of October 21, students of the Fourth Advanced Seminar for English-speaking Countries in Africa (about 70 people); ZHOU Weipei, Director, and JIANG Haiying, Deputy Director of the International Division of the National Audit Office; CHU Zongming, Deputy Director of the Provincial Audit Office; chief of Municipal Audit Bureau, came to Fujiabian, Nanjing to conduct investigation. LI Baijian, General Manager of Fujiabian Group introduced the situation of fruit tree cultivation and the development of modern agriculture park, then led them to visit “Yangguang Jiayuan”, “Plum Subject Square”, “China-Japan Friendship Pear Garden”, “ Cultivation Center” and “High-quality Strawberry Garden”. The guests showed great enthusiasm and high affirmation to the development of modern agriculture in our county.

On November 19, GUO Jianying, Vice Mayor of Cangzhou, together with an agricultural investigation group, visited Fujiabian Modern Agricultural Park. The guests visited “Plum Subject Square”, “Soilless Cultivation Exhibition Hall” and “High-quality Strawberry Garden”. GUO Jianying fully affirmed the achievements of our park, especially the achievements in promoting farmers to get rich and to build efficient facility agriculture, who said that they would bring the experience back to Cangzhou.

On December 23, the Third Live Broadcast of Jiangsu News Action Series titled “Jiangsu Spirit Enlightens the Future-Innovation and Striving to Be the First Sees Lishui” came to a successful conclusion at Lishui Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park, which was simultaneously broadcast by Jiangsu News Radio, Jiangsu New Media and Jiangsu News Radio’s Official Microblog. Guests including HUANG Chengwen, member of Lishui County Standing Committee and Minister of Publicity, LI Baijian, Director of Nanjing Fujiabian Science and Technology Park Group Co., Ltd., LI Jian, Financial Director of Jiangsu Guangdian Shiqiu Movie & TV Base Co., Ltd. and ZHANG Chun, commentator of Jiangsu News Broadcast were   invited to attend the activity. Guests gave a high evaluation and affirmation on the industrial development of the park, HUANG Chengwen, member of Lishui County Standing Committee and Minister of Publicity introduced the development of Lishui, innovative development practice in recent years, and the situation that Lishui can quadruple in four years.

2012

On February 2, Deputy Head of Linzi District, Shandong Province, ZHANG Zhaocai, leaded district government modern agriculture development delegation to Fujiabian modern agriculture park. General Manager of Fujiabian Technology Group, LI Baijan, guided the delegation to visit the “Tissue Culture Center” and “Strawberry Garden”. The Deputy Head of ZHANG Zhaocai introduced that he visited Lishui County in 2003 and gave his full affirmation on the great effectiveness of development such as ecological environmental protection and the construction of modern agricultural parks and other aspects of Lishui in recent years, meanwhile, he also introduced the experience in vegetable production and exploring market in Linzi District. Both parties expressed that there will be more communication and cooperation in the aspect of modern agricultural development in the future.

In February, our park in elected as the second batch of “Nanjing Foreign Cultural Exchange Base” which is organized and opened by units such as the CPC Nanjing Municipal Propaganda Department, Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Affairs, Information Office, the People’s Government of Nanjing Province, and Nanjing Foreign Cultural Exchange Center.

On February 24, the opening ceremony of 7th International Strawberry Symposium Lishui Sub-venue and Nanjing "Spring Blossom" Plum Admiring and Berry Picking Tour undertaken by the county government, Nanjing Municipal Agricultural Committee, Honglan Town Government, Agricultural Bureau of the county was held in Strawberry Garden Plaza of our park. The Bureau of Township Enterprises of the Ministry of Agriculture, leaders of relevant units in provinces, cities and counties, 30 foreign guests and 200 Nanjing citizens attended the opening ceremony. Deputy County Chief, CHEN Xiaodong made a speech, and Chairman of The British Berry Production Company, Richard, made a talk on behalf of the foreign guest and commended ten “Good Strawberry Farmers” at the opening ceremony. SHAO Jiancheng, a researcher from the Ministry of Agriculture, WU Jianhua, director of the Provincial Agricultural Commission, RONG Xinxiang, Deputy Director of the Municipal Agricultural Commission, and Chen Xiaodong, Deputy Head of the county government, kicked off the ball for this activity. The special performance of “Spring to Strawberry Garden” was conducted after the opening ceremony. Foreign guests visited Fujiabian Strawberry Garden and Fujiabian Modern Agricultural Technology and Science Park as well when the performance was finished.

In March, all directors and shareholders of Fujiabian Group held a special engineering meeting on building a new large-scale green plum salt pond and each shareholder gave their comments. They agreed with investing in nearly RMB 2 million to build a new processing plant through careful discussion, which would be a mark on driving green plum of Lishui to industrial development.

On April 5, SU Guoxia, Deputy Director-general of the Policy and Regulations Department of the Poverty Alleviation Office of the State Council, and other people visited our park on the spot, were aware of detailed conditions such as farmers' income growth from entrepreneurship, tourism and agricultural development, and the operation model of strawberry greenhouses, and listened to relevant briefings, as well as gave their affirmation about the achievements made by the park in accelerating the construction of facility agriculture and agricultural standardization and in helping farmers increase their income.

On the morning of April 7, MU Tanjian, MA Kaiyuan, Deputy Director of the People's Congress of Suide County, Shaanxi Province, MA Shengjun, Director of County Agriculture Bureau, came to Fujiabian Modern Agricultural Garden for visit. Both parties had extensive exchanges on efficient facilities for modern agriculture. And we were cordially invited to Suide for visit.

On April 10, with the theme of "Green, Beautiful and Happy Lishui, Grand Meeting with Cultural Tourism Development", the 12th Plum Blossom Festival of Lishui County was opened at Fujiabian Modern Agricultural Garden, at the same time, the activity of “I have a fruit tree in Lishui” and “Thousand families have a spring outing in Lishui” of 2012 were started. 25 city TV stations of east China jointly built a TV tourism program and carried out hiking activities.

On May 24, LI Yining, Member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Deputy Director of The Economic Committee, Director of the Social Sciences Department of Peking University, honorary dean of Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, doctoral supervisor visited and guided our work in park.

On May 26, in the "National Leisure Agriculture Creative Products Competition in East China Sub-competition" powered by Ministry of Agriculture, the "Egg carving of Youth Olympic Games" selected by our park won the gold medal which is the only one in Nanjing region.

On the morning of June 16, under the recommendation of College of Economics and Management of Nanjing Agricultural University, 28 experts and leaders who are agricultural experts and students, and agricultural officers of government from The United States, Australia, Argentina and other 7 countries, of International Food and Agricultural Management Association came to Nanjing Fujiabian Modern Agricultural Park for investigation and exchange.

The guests visited the plant tissue culture center, farmer training Center, Plum Garden, Shan’ao Agritainment Village and Strawberry Garden. Then we had an exchange at the conference room on the second floor of reception center in our park. The visiting guests expressed their deep appreciation for the park's work in recent years and paid special attention to the park's promotion of local farmers. They expressed that agricultural park is another initiative of the government to make farmers rich, following the "order-farming" and "agricultural cooperatives" in recent years.

On August 18, the 10th anniversary celebration of Fujiaban Science and Technology Park Group and the opening ceremony of the 9th Fruit Picking Festival were held in Yangguang Jiayuan. After the opening ceremony, summit forum of “Fujiabian’s past, present and future” was successfully held at the large conference room on the second floor of scientific research center, which refined and summarized the construction results of Fujiabian Science and Technology Park, and put forward suggestions and requirements on future development direction, road, and model as well as scientific and technological innovation, and management innovation. The leaders presented at the event include CHEN Xiaodong, Deputy Head of Lishui County People's Government, ZHANG Jianyong, Director of The Provincial Agriculture Commission, ZHANG Xueping, Director of the Provincial Development Bureau, CHEN Hongqiang, Director of the Provincial Science and Technology Department, CHEN Xiaohu, Director of the Municipal People's Congress, YIN Zhaolun, Chairman of the County People's Political Consultative Conference and other provincial and municipal leaders.

On September 2, GAO Juncai, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Economy of the National Development and Reform Commission and relevant leaders of provincial and municipal Development and Reform Commission came to our park for visit and research accompanied by HONG Lilai, County Party Committee Standing Committee, Executive Deputy County Chief, CHEN Xiaodong, Deputy County Chief. During the investigation, Gao Juncai and his team inspected the agricultural industrialization construction of the park and the farmhouse construction in Shan’ao Village on spot, and fully affirmed the achievements made in the work of the park. They hoped that the park could further accelerate the development of specialized rural cooperatives and lead more farmers to increase their incomes and get rich, and further accelerate the construction of agricultural science and technology park and the development of tourism and agriculture.

On October 13, sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China and undertaken by the Bureau of Township Enterprises of the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China, Jiangsu Provincial Agriculture Committee and Nanjing Municipal People's Government, the first National Leisure Agriculture Creative Products Promotion Activity and the Eighth Agricultural Carnival Activity of Nanjing, Jiangsu, were successfully held in Nanjing National Exhibition Center. Our park served as the first key agricultural leading enterprise also gave great help with an exhibition hall of 150 m2, highlighting the ecological Lishui, and organic orchard for the Youth Olympic! You can experience in the air of organic grape park in the exhibition hall. Entering the gate of Fujiabian exhibition hall, the first thing you can see is the inscription of the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games. It was made of fruit, which left a deep impression on the citizens. Nanjing citizens can also taste fresh blueberry, blackberry fresh juice, crisp and delicious crispy plum for free. This exhibition can fully express our park’s determination and will on supporting cultural Youth Olympic, building ecological Lishui and a heart for farmers.

On the morning of December 2, accompanied by the Provincial Productivity Promotion Center, a group of 23 personnel from Xinjiang Yili Training Class for Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talents came to Fujiabian Science and Technology Park Group to visit and investigate. The training team firstly heard the introduction of LI Baijian, General Manager of the Group, on the construction and development process of the park, the planning of the park, the development of the industry, and the promotion of farmers' income and wealth. The two sides also exchanged views on the number of agricultural projects, source of funds, number of patent applications, investment status of research and development, talent introduction and prospect of future development of the park. Later, they visited the Plant Tissue Culture Center, Central Plaza, Provincial Rural Science and Technology Service Supermarket, Shan’ao Village Agritainment Community, Strawberry Base and so on. The delegation was very interested in construction of Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park, and expressed appreciation to our county in the development of modern agriculture experience and practices. They have said to take good experience and practices of the park construction and to summarize and learn, combining with their own reality, to further promote the development of Xinjiang Yili Science and Technology Park. 2013

On January 26, representatives from 10 media including Xinhua News Agency, Guangming Daily, Economic Daily and China Central Television visited Fujiabian Strawberry Garden and Jiangsu Rural Science and Technology Service Supermarket.

On January 28, Shan’ao Village of the park won the title of "Top Ten Beautiful Villages" in the selection of "Charming Nanjing 'Top 100' Urban and Rural Construction Achievements" sponsored by the Information Office of the Municipal Government, Municipal Housing and Construction Commission and Nanjing Newspaper Media Group.

The 13th Plum Festival of Lishui, Nanjing was opened at Fujiabian Technology Park, attracting more than 40 thousand person-times on that day. At the opening ceremony, Lishui County was awarded bronze medal of provincial tourism resort (experimental) area and provincial three-star rural tourism spot, and completed the strategic cooperation contract with Joyu International Tourism Operation Group. Tourism donation of "I have a fruit tree in Lishui", ecological experience tour of the “Source of Qinhuai River”, cultural experience tour "Spring Tour of A thousand families of Nanjing in Lishui", Putang Temple Fair and other activities will be launched successively.

On March 9, jointly hosted by the People's Government of Lishui, Nanjing Agriculture Commission and the 2013 Nanjing Daily, LiShui Strawberry Culture Festival with the theme "green, technology, ecology, benefiting the people" and Nanjing "Spring of China" leisure agriculture tour, “Agritainment” channel of Nanjing Daily Net launched open ceremony, held in Fujiabian Strawberry Garden Plaza in the morning.

On May 11, more than 20 people from African delegation came to our park for visit and investigation, and visited the China-Japan Friendship Pear Garden, Meihua Mountain, Scientific Research Center, Shan’ao Village and the science and Technology Service Supermarket in Lishui District accompanied by the Fujiabian Science Park’s guide, were aware of the construction process, development planning and agricultural industrialization development of Fujiaban Science and Technology Park, and gave unanimous praise. They look forward to more agricultural information exchange and cooperation next time.

On the afternoon of May 23, The "2013 Jiangsu Spring Best Place to Enjoy Flowers" expert judging activity jointly launched by Jiangsu Tourism Bureau and Xinhua News Agency Media Group ended in Nanjing. Tourism and communication experts from the provincial Tourism Bureau, JSChina.com.cn, Nanjing Normal University and Southeast University participated in the judging. In the selection, The Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park, which covers an area of 10,000 mu, was awarded the best plum blossom wonderland in Jiangsu. Our park brand effect got a further promotion, through joining in this activity and election, at the same time, laid a solid foundation for Lishui sightseeing leisure agriculture.

On June 24, a group of 28 people from The Special training class for innovative scientific and technological talents of Yili Prefecture of Xinjiang came to our park to visit and investigate the work of agricultural scientific and technological innovation. Two sides discussed and exchanged on implementing the introduction of talent and training in the park. The experience and practice of agricultural science and technology innovation in our park were appreciated.

On July 14, a group of 34 people from Taiwan Agricultural Cooperative and Yunlin County Agricultural Association came to our park to investigate agricultural leisure projects and related supporting projects. Deputy Inspector QIAN Zhiyong of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the city, district leaders HONG Lilai, DAI Xiaoli and other personnel accompanied the inspection. Two sides conducted exchanges on cooperative training, deep processing of agricultural products and so on.

On August 10, the 10th Fujiabian Fruit Picking Festival of Lishui in Nanjing was held in Scientific Research Center of our park, leaders and guests at the meeting included ZHANG Mingchun, Deputy Director of Lishui District Cultural and Cultural Bureau (Tourism Bureau); SHI Jianping, Deputy General Manager of Fujiabian Modern Agricultural Park Development Corporation; LI Baijian, Chairman of Nanjing Fujiabian Group Co., Ltd., love unit representative, etc. a series of love public service activities during the picking fruit had been unanimously praised by the general public.

On September 2, LIU Wenbiao, Vice Mayor of Hebi City, Henan Province, and his team of more than 20 people visited and investigated the park and learned about its business model and driving farmers to increase their incomes. CHEN Xiaodong, responsible person of Agriculture Commission and Work Commission and Deputy District Head, and DAI Xiaoli, Vice Chairman of the District CPPCC and Director of the Agriculture Bureau accompanied the inspection.

On September 18, 2013, HUI Liangyu, former Vice Premier of the State Council, visited Fujiabian Science and Technology Park, accompanied by JIANG Ming, Secretary of Lishui District Committee, CHEN Xiaodong, Vice Head of Lishui District, LI Baijian, General Manager of Fujiabian Group and other leaders.

In October, Jiangsu Province Tourism Bureau and Xinhua Daily Media Group launched the expert evaluation activity of "2013 Jiangsu spring best resort to enjoy flowers", and our park won the honorary title the most favorite 2013 Jiangsu plum wonderland by netizens. Tourism and communication experts from the provincial Tourism Bureau, JSChina.com.cn, Nanjing Normal University and Southeast University participated in the judging.

On the afternoon of November 5, 14 people including ZHAO Changsong, Deputy Secretary of The Party Committee of Guangling District of Yangzhou came to our park to investigate the development of agricultural tourism and the integrated development of industry. SUN Lyuye, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, LI Baijian, Chairman of Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park, and SHI Jianping, Deputy General Manager of Fujiabian Administrative Committee accompanied the reception. During the investigation, LI Baijian explained and communicated with the delegation on the development of agricultural science and technology, agricultural tourism and agricultural industrialization in the park. On the afternoon of December 11, in the expert evaluation activity of "2013 Jiangsu provincial parent-child tourism destination and routes" jointly launched by Jiangsu Provincial Tourism Bureau and Xinhua Daily Media Group, our park won the title of "2013 Jiangsu best parent-child tourism destination". Experts and scholars from Nanjing Normal University, Provincial Tourism Bureau, JSChian.com.cn, Youth Tourism and other units participated in the evaluation.

2014

In February, our park invested in tens of millions yuan to build an agricultural science and technology exhibition center that gathers scientific and technological achievements, agricultural enterprises, characteristic products, and people flow and logistics. The exhibition center is a gathering display window for the demonstration and application of modern high-tech achievements in agriculture. It is also an innovation platform for integrating the resources of agricultural scientific and technological achievements of Fujiabian Park and the whole district and developing various kinds of public services for agriculture.

On the morning of March 2, the sun is bright and spring breeze caresses your face. The opening ceremony of the “Plum Festival of Lishui in 2014” was held at Plum Theme Square of Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Park. This activity was hosted by Nanjing District Tourism Association with the theme of “Touring natural Lishui, enjoying nature without thinking” to promote four golden ecological routes gathering ecological tourism quality attractions in Lishui so that visitors can have a comprehensive experience of the green mountains, green waters and unique culture in Lishui. HUANG Chengwen, member of the Standing Committee of the District Committee, gave a welcome speech. XIE Yuan, the District Head, issued the adoption certificate for the representatives of love entrepreneurs and an invitation letter for the young volunteers of colleges and universities in Nanjing, and launched the WeChat treasure hunt. The new ten scenes of Lishui were introduced to tourists, citizens and media.

At 10:08 a.m. on March 8, jointly sponsored by Nanjing Leisure Agriculture Association and Lishui Strawberry Association, with the theme of "Strawberry Makes Life Sweeter", the 2014 Nanjing Leisure Agriculture "Spring Flower" plum admiring and strawberry picking tour and Lishui Strawberry Culture Festival has officially kicked off in Fujiabian Modern Agriculture Park, Honglan Town, Lishui District. Leaders of Provincial Agricultural Commission and Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, leaders of Municipal Agricultural Commission, Tourism Commission and Science Commission, Head of Strawberry Branch of China Horticultural Society, Deputy District Head, CHEN Xiaodong, Vice Chairman of District CPPCC and Director of Agriculture Bureau, DAI Xiaoli, and other leaders of relevant departments attended the opening ceremony. This activity aims to take plum (blackberry) as medium, interact agriculture with tourism, publicity show LiShui quality strawberry and Fujiabian ecological beauty, further heighten the Fujiabian strawberry characteristic brand, expanding external influence, consolidate reputation of Fujiabian Park and promote the healthy development of LiShui strawberry industry, the local farmers' income, promote the development of urban and rural areas as a whole.

On June 12, the first agricultural photovoltaic integration new energy project in the city - the photovoltaic power station project of Nanjing Fujiabian Science and Technology Park Group Co., Ltd. was officially launched. The project realizes automatic operation, seamless connection with the power grid, self-generation and self-use and getting on the Internet with surplus power, maximizing energy utilization.

On July 7, Lishui Economic Fruit Industry Branch of Jiangsu Rural Science and Technology Service Supermarket established by Nanjing Fujiabian Science and Technology Park Group Co., Ltd., the core enterprise of the park, won the title of “provincial excellent rural science and technology service supermarket in 2014”. Lishui Branch store is a science and technology service supermarket integrating “science and technology promotion, technical consultation and agricultural materials operation”, further extending the service connotation of the science and technology supermarket, forming an industrial chain integrating the production, processing and sales of characteristic fruits, effectively promoting the development of the local characteristic economic fruit industry, and making the science and technology service agriculture really take root.

In the morning of August 2, with the music of “Where Are We Going, Dad?”, the Shanshuimei Fujiabian 11th Fruit Picking Festival opened. Nearly a thousand tourists went into Fujiabian Agricultural Science and Technology Sightseeing Park to enjoy the happy picking of “Fuguo” (grapes and pears), and spent a happy Chinese Valentine’s Day together. District leaders HUANG Chengwen and HUANG Lie attended the opening ceremony.

On November 15, at the award ceremony and mayor forum of “Hand in Hand, Most Beautiful Villages and Towns in China” held in Nanjing, Fujiabian Village was awarded the Person Contribution Award. Initiated by First Finance and Economics and jointly sponsored by dozens of media such as the Central National Radio, Fujiabian Village was selected in the event “Hand in Hand, Most Beautiful Villages and Towns in China” after three rounds of competition, including shortlist voting, netizen selection and expert media selection. There were 60 representatives of villages and towns in China receiving this honor, including 8 in Jiangsu Province, 2 in our city and the other is Zhou Village in Jiangning District, which won the “Humanistic Environment Award”.

In the morning of December 14, the Lhasa Science and Technology Bureau led a 38-person delegation of farmers and herdsmen specilists, accompanied by relevant leaders of the Provincial Productivity Promotion Center, came to the park to conduct inspection and communication. First, the delegation visited the elevated greenhouse strawberry base, the plant tissue culture center, the core area of the park, the technology service supermarket and the Shan’ao Village. Subsequently, a symposium was held, and DAI Jun, Deputy Director of the District Science and Technology Bureau introduced the agricultural science and technology innovation and the development of characteristic agriculture of our district at the meeting; both sides conducted the in-depth communication on the introduction of new strawberry varieties, seedling breeding, disease and pest control, market expansion, etc. The delegation highly appreciated the achievements made in the construction of Fujiabian Park and the increase of farmers’ income, and said that they will strengthen the long-term cooperation and exchanges based on their own reality and promote the rapid development of the local economy.

2015

On March 1, 2015, Fujiabian Village, Honglan Town, Lishui District, Nanjing, was successfully selected with the title of the fourth National Civilized Town.

On March 1, 2015, "2015 Lishui Plum Festival" kicked off at Fujiabian Science and Technology Park in Lishui, Nanjing. The opening ceremony of the festival released the strategies of enjoying the flowers and picking in Lishui, the postcards of "Ten Scenes in Lishui", and showed the micro films of Lishui tourism and the excellent works nominated as the mascot. "I have a fruit tree in Lishui" love adoption activity was held. Related leaders of Provincial Tourism Bureau, Sports Bureau, Municipal Tourism Commission, Municipal Agriculture Commission, and Municipal sports bureau, district leaders XIE Yuan, HUANG Chengwen, HUANG Lie, DAI Xiaoli attended the opening ceremony.

On October 16, In the selection of "Nanjing Leisure Agriculture and the Most Beautiful Leisure Village in 2015" jointly held by Nanjing Municipal Agricultural Commission, Nanjing Municipal Tourism Commission, Nanjing Civilization Office and Nanjing Broadcasting Group, Lishui Fujiapian Agricultural Science and Technology Sightseeing Park was selected as one of the ten most popular leisure agricultural attractions.
