WANG Liangju, male, was born in September 1964. He is a Professor and Doctor of Science of College of Horticulture, Nanjing Agricultural University, and a Doctoral Supervisor of fruit tree and vegetable science. He has been engaging in the growth and development regulation of horticultural crops such as fruit trees and vegetables and the R&D and promotion of new technologies. He has presided over one project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, one project of Agricultural Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province (Major), one project of Agricultural science and technology of Jiangsu Province, one project of China Scholarship Council of The Ministry of Education, and participated in many projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Jiangsu Provincial Key Science and Technology Project and Jiangsu Provincial Agriculture project. He published 116 papers, among which 14 papers were included in SCI, had 3 national invention patents, won 1 second prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Ministry of Education and 1 third prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Jiangsu Province. He is mainly engaged in the application research of 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) in agricultural production. He developed “Ailezhuang Amino acid water-soluble fertilizer” as the main active ingredients of ALA and a new plant growth regulator “ammonia acyl propionic acid” which can regulate plant growth and development, improve plant ability for salt resistance, tolerance to low temperature and weak light, and high temperature and strong light, increase production, and improve quality. It has a broad application prospect in field crops such as rice, wheat, rapeseed, cotton, corn etc. and vegetables crops such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumber, radish, cabbage etc. and fruit crops such as apples, grapes, pears, strawberries and so on.
