Dajin Mountain Scenic Spot is located in Dongping Town, Lishui County, Nanjing City. Yanjiang Expressway and Nan-Hang Expressway directly reach the scenic spot, which is close to the Dongping Lake with a vast expanse of blue waves, and the lake and mountain form an interesting contrast.

Dajinshan Mountain, is the stretching branch of Donglu Mountain, the birthplace of Qinhuai River. The foot of the mountain is close to Dongping Lake, the second largest artificial lake in Nanjing, with a surface area of 7.8 square kilometers. Dajin Mountain and Maoshan Mountain face each other, and the land between is flat. In the late autumn, wheat waves roll and the scenery is spectacular. Looking from the top of Dajin Mountain, Donglu Mountain, Maoshan Mountain and Dajin Mountain seem to be three brothers, each occupying one side. Overlooking Dongping Lake from the top, the islets in the lake are like mustard seeds. The lake surface is calm as a mirror, where the sunlight and clouds linger. It is refreshing.

Dajin Mountain Scenic Spot is a tourist attraction integrating ecological landscape, tourism and leisure, conference and business residence, cultural landscape and national defense education. There are rich tourism resources in the area, including both colorful natural scenery and majestic military landscape.
